چکیده

The economic viability of adsorbing crystal violet (CV) using pepper seed spent (PSS) as a biosorbent in an aqueous solution has been studied. A parametrical investigation was conducted considering parameters like initial concentration dye, time contact, pH value, and temperature variation. analysis experimental data obtained carried out by evaluating with the isotherms Freundlich, Sips, Tempkin, Jovanovic, Brouers–Sotolongo, Toth, Vieth–Sladek, Radke–Prausnitz, Langmuir, Redlich–Peterson. adsorption kinetics were studied implementing Dumwald-Wagner, Weber-Morris, pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, film diffusion, Avrami models. value capacity ( Q m = 129.4 mg g − 1 ) observed to be quite close Jovanovic isotherm id="M2"> 82.24 at id="M3"> R 2 ), coefficient correlation 0.945. validation found conform that pseudo-second-order kinetic process specified spontaneous endothermic owing thermodynamic values id="M4"> Δ G 0 , id="M5"> H id="M6"> S . id="M7"> is indicator process’s physical nature. Application of Magnetic-modified Fe3O Nanoparticles for Removal of Crystal Violet from Aqueous Solution: Kinetic, Equilibrium and Thermodynamic Studies

The prepared magnetic-modified Fe3 O4 nanoparticles (Fe3 O4 -TAN) were used as adsorbent for removal of crystal violet (CV) from water solution. The effects of pH, contact time, dye concentration and temperature on adsorption were determined. The experimental data were analyzed using the Langmuir adsorption model. The data fitted well to the model with maximum adsorption capacities 84.0 mg/gund...

Adsorption of Malachite Green from Aqueous Solution by Nanozeolite Clinoptilolite: Equilibrium, Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies

The object of present study was to examine the adsorption potential of nanozeolite clinoptilolite (CP) for the removal of malachite green (MG) from aqueous phase in a batch equilibrium system. SEM, EDX, XRF, XRD and FT-IR techniques of characterization of zeolite were applied. The effects of initial pH solution, adsorbent dose, temperature, contact time and initial MG concentration on adsorptio...

Kinetic and Equilibrium Studies of Neutral Red Adsorption onto Spent Ground Coffee from Aqueous Solution

In this study, the adsorption of neutral red (NR) on the spent ground coffee (SGC) was examined. The effect of various parameters such as pH and adsorbent dose on the removal of NR was investigated. The removal ratios of NR (25 and 40 mg/L) on SGC after 2 h were 95.6 and 90.2%, respectively. The removal ratio of NR is increased by increasing the pH value. Equilibrium data fitted very well in a ...

Removal of phenol from aqueous solution by adsorption onto seashells: equilibrium, kinetic and thermodynamic studies

The efficacy of seashells as a new adsorbent for removal of phenol from aqueous solutions was studied by performing batch equilibrium tests under different operating parameters such as solution pH, adsorbent dose, initial phenol concentration, and temperature. The phenol removal efficiency remained unaffected when the initial pH of the phenol solution was in the range of 3–8. The amount of phen...
